Springfield Armory

Springfield Armory is a manufacturer of high quality firearms. The company originally was founded back in 1777 by George Washington to store ammunition and gun carriages for the American Revolutionary War. in 1794, the Armory began manufacturing muskets for the country, and for the next 150 years, the Armory functioned as a supplier for every major American conflict that came up. In 1968 the government closed the Armory due to finances and in 1974 the company was resurrected by the Reece family to continue the excellence of the brand and bring back the classic, historical designs to include the M1 Garand, 1911-A1, and M14. The company still produces the classic style firearms with the M1A and 1911 style pistols while at the same time designing newer state of the art products to complement their inventory. The company offers a line of high quality designs to include the XD series of polymer, striker fired pistols, The SAINT series of AR style rifles and pistols, and the newest addition to the concealed carry market the Hellcat.
